  • how to test for bad RAM?

I am getting intermittent memory problems that give a specific location of the problem (something referenced memory at 0X00163cc8 that could not be read). I have two sticks of 512 MB DDR RAM. I've tried swapping the sticks and all, but to no avail. Is there any downloadable program I can use to test my memory and see what's going on?

I use Memtest86 for memory testing but ya may also try upping the memory voltage 0.1 volt. ;)

Here's a link with some downloads. There are a lot more out there too. Try Google.
