An annoying problem with SiS 7012 - Please help.

I recently did a reformat on my computer and upon installation my video and sound drivers were MIA. I reinstalled the video, then reinstalled the sound, and upon restart my sound goes bye-bye. If I uninstall and reinstall the drivers they work fine, UNTILL restart.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks gang. You've always been very helpful in the past. :-)

What do you see in device manager when the sound is AWOL?

I think I have it figured out. I have disabled the sis 7012 drivers and am operating on the Creative drivers only. It's working fine now with gaming and all.

Do you think this is a good fix? Or temporary bandaid? The device manager showed all drivers active.
