There is a a folder under my favorites called Links that always reappears no matter how many times I delete it. Anyone know where in the registry I can edit this?

you can do two things. either delete the folder and stop it from reapperaing or you can simply hide it.
for the former
Open your registry and find the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar.
Set the value of "LinksFolderName" to equal a blank string. Open IE and delete the Links folder from the Favorites menu.
The next time you start Internet Explorer the Links folder will not be recreated.
for the latter
simply set the attribute of links folder to "hidden" from explorer!
it is usually located in "C:\Documents and Settings\User\Favorites"
as soon as u set it to hidden, it will not be shown in the listLatest Microsoft Security Updates.

Well no point in opening another thread I've got another question. I cannot remember where to go to change my Recycle Bin icon. Also how do I rename it? This clean install totally changed everything back from how I had it and I dont remember anything.

Ok that registry entry is confusing, I put the exact location of where the icon is but it isnt working.
C:\Icons\Cobalt\Icon07.icon
etc.
etc.
And it doesnt work. I remember coming across a spot in Windows where you can just click change icon for the Recylcle Bin I just don't remember where.
