    Post Motherboard d'nt support Ubuntu

    Hi all
I am using ASRock motherboard G41M-VS2. I am using Pentium Dual Core 2.7 GHz processor with it. I have installed Window 7 in it.
Now I wanna install Ubuntu 10.04 but when ever I install the graphic version didn't come of Ubuntu only command line show. Please help me to solve this error.
How can I install Ubuntu 10.04. Do I have to use any graphic card for it.

    Thank in advance.

    Hello Manish,

You can try to install Ubuntu 10.04 with following setting.
1.Set the Share Memory to [128M] or lower then try again.
2.When you boot into the boot loader of Ubuntu10.04, press [F10] key when you see the language select page, choose "safe graphic mode" for installing Ubuntu 10.04.

    Thanks!

    Best Wishes

Hi, try to boot your live-cd with the nomodeset option. It worked for me.
