Default Using AM3 CPU on N68C-S UCC motherboards?

Hi plan on putting a AMD Athlon II x2 250 cpu in a Asrock N68C-S UCC then unlocking 4cores but i read that with AM3 cpu's the system bus speed will downgrade from HT3.0 (5200 MT/s) to HT1.0 (2000 MT/s). Would this affect the performance? or would i be better buying a AM2 CPU then unlocking more cores?

    thanks

Currently I have a biostar 790GX motherboard, and processor PII 555x2 @ x4 B55, this is a revision of c3. It is unlocked and working properly. But I have to sell the motherboard, and since I have G. Skill DDR2 and I would not sell them.

    I wanted to buy a universal motherboard N68C-S (AM2 + / AM3 ) with support for DDR2 and DDR3.

What are the problems with unlocking the CPU on the new motherboard I have? I mean c3 processor revision, because friends have already unlocked processors c2 on the motherboard.
