Default ASRock P67 Extreme4 Boot Priorities

For some reason, under the boot menu in the UEFI, I am not able to select any boot priorities. It simply says "Boot Priorities" with no option #1, #2, etc. It also won't let me even go up to select Boot Priorities so I am really confused at the moment as to how I am going to load my OS. Thanks for the help.

    Dear rhsbf,

It seems system doesn't recognize your HDD and ODD, please kindly refer to below suggestions for testing.
    1. Load BIOS default settings to try.
    2. Reinstall your HDD and ODD to try.
    3. Check the HDD and ODD are installed correctly.
    4. Install your HDD and ODD to other SATA ports to try.
    5. If possible, please kindly change another HDD to try.

    Thanks~

    Have a nice day

Are you aware of the Sandybridge recall on some early P67 chipsets? Google Sandybridge recall or ask your motherboard provider.

    boot priorities:

Go down one section to the "folder" in the boot priorities UEFI section.
    What bootable devices are recognised?
You change the boot priorities there.

What are you trying to boot off?

Is it that it cant see your cd/dvd drive?

Are you trying to use a hdd with say win 7 already loaded,if so it may be in ahci format and I think the bios defaults to ide initially.

Once you get into the uefi you should be able to change parameters to recognise different bootable devices then reboot.

Try just loading the windows cd into the drive and see what happens,if thats the problem.

After you change bios settings you will have to reboot for them to take effect and if you get an error ,reset cmos and reload defaults.
It took me a little while to get my ide usb stick recognised so I could reflash the bios.
