    Dear Heffer,

Please kindly provide the detail configuration of your system for us.

Which RAID volume do you build? (RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 0+1, RAID 5 or JBOD)

    Thanks for your help!

    Have a nice day

It is a RAID 1 volume .... simple mirror of 2 seagate 1TB drives. Raid shows healthy and boots into windows system check. However now windows start up check... now never completes to give you that error of windows error no OS. Windows Start up check starts up automatically and says please wait. I waited more than 2 hours just recently however last time when it completed it took no more than about 5 min.

again thank you for your assistance its appreciated

    STEP 3: Set Up BIOS.
    A. Enter BIOS SETUP UTILITY Advanced screen Storage Configuration.
    B. Set the “SATA Operation Mode” option to [RAID].
You may want to download motherboard user manual PDF. Follow RAID instructions and BIOS instructions.

Question Re: after bios update windows 7 does not boot raid

Yes, it is set to raid and raid does show up healthy. Now after leaving it set for several hours Windows Start up check completed and now gives registry errors. How do I fix this with out a restore point? Do I break the raid and wipe and reinstall on one drive. Or is their any resolve that I can do before I do. So I can get our home computer back up.

Thanks for any help or ideas

I would run Windows 7 setup Custom. When I installed Custom on mine it saved all my old windows files in a folder called Windowsold on the C drive. Then all I had to do was copy and paste old Windows files to new Windows. I would download the drivers from ↓here↓ Also I would follow the installation instructions. You can find them on the download page after you click the type of installation you want ↓here↓
