I had the same problem, but fixed it by changing in the advanced adapter settings under "WOL Speed" from "Lowest Speed Advertised" to "Auto."

    I have the P67 Extreme4 B3 board.

I was having trouble doing WOL from a shutdown (S5) state until I enabled "PCI Devices Power On" setting under the ACPI sub-menu in my UEFI. After that, it works like a charm. Before I had that enabled, I was still able to WOL from sleep (S3) mode but wasn't able to wake the computer up if it had completely shutdown. Now I can do both, thank to this thread!

    Hi everyone,

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, but I thought this would be good place to ask.

Do I still need a network card if I have an AsRock Z68 Fatality? I use the motherboard's onboard ethernet for internet, so I didn't think I'd need an additional network card.

    Thank you in advance!
