    Thanks kalin89

I supposed that, but was not clear due the mobo (Asrock ALiveNF6P-VSTA) is for DDR2 ram modules.

So I preferred to ask before buying the video card.

Any other related suggestion?..................I'm a bit confused about PCIe, PCIe 2.0, PCIe 2.1

You can even get a GDDR5 GPU for your mobo, as long as it has a PCIe slot!

Just get a card for PCIe x16 and what is your budget and your system specs and what games do you intend to play? This way we can suggest you a GPU. We have to know the System Specs so that we know your System won't bottleneck the GPU. And ofcourse, your budget.

    Thanks ShahJahan.

I just want to improve the overall system perfomance due the video chipset is on board and it takes about 1/8 of the total RAm (4 Gb).

As I don't play games with the PC a 2Gb. DDR3 2.0 or 2.01 PCIe video card is enoguh for me.

If you don't game, then even without the graphics card you should be ok. But if you still wish to, then you can get any card you please.

You can also consult this chart to see where the card stands.
