Question Dual monitor set up not working. PLEASE help!!

My Windows 7 PC is having difficulty showing duplicate displays on dual monitors. I have done all the searching and trouble shooting I can think of. Thanks so much in advance for anyone that can offer help.

    HARDWARE:
Intel Core i3 2105 Sandy Bridge processor. This chip includes both the CPU and integrated GPU cores. There is no discrete graphics card on the motherboard.

The motherboard is ASRock H61M/U3S3. The manual says this motherboard provides independent display controllers for DVI-D and D-Sub to support dual VGA output. DVI-D and D-sub can drive same or different display contents.

    SETUP:
    On Windows 7.
Two montors are pluged in: one D-Sub monitor and one DVI-D monitor.

    RESULT:
    Only the D-Sub monitor displays.
The DVI-D monitor says "no signal" and then goes on standby.

    WORKAROUND:
There is a way to duplicate the display on both monitors, but it requires manipulating the cables after every bootup:
    1. Unplug the D-Sub monitor from both the power and the motherboard port.
    2. Plug the D-Sub cable into the motherboard's port.
    3. Set multiple displays to "duplicate" (right click desktop, Screen resolution > Multiple displays: Duplicate these displays, click OK button).
    4. Plug in power cord for the D-Sub monitor and turn on D-Sub monitor.
    5. Now both monotors show the same display.
This proves that my PC is capable of duplicate displays in Windows 7.

    ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
When booting Ubuntu 11.04 on my PC, the dual monitors can show duplicate or extended displays, without manipulating the cables.

Is there a way to get Windows 7 to duplicate displays on dual monitors without unpluging and pluging cables after every bootup?

Thank you for looking into this.

In the display driver, try to find the appropriate option.

Is that what you mean by "appropriate option"?

I updated the drivers for the adapter and both monitors and then restarted the computer. Still having the same problem.

I noticed that there does not appear to be a digital driver for the DVI-D monitor. Is that a problem? In the screen shot,
The D-Sub monitor is named “Generic Non-PnP Monitor”
The DVI-D monitor is named “S211HL (Analog)”
