    Default AsRock Fatal1ty Z68

Quick question: Is it possible to tweak the Uefi in order to take his face off of it? I have heard it is, but I want to make sure.

    Thanks.

To be honest, these forums have convinced me to go with another brand and model. Multiple days and no answers, even from other users seems crazy to me, and seems like a good sign of what kind of support I can look forward to if I buy this board.

If you download the latest BIOS for this board, 1.30 (go to the Asrock website look for this motherboard under products, then on the left click on downloads, should bring you to the drivers and BIOS downloads) it has the option to change the look of the UEFI and gets rid of his face. I found that if you download the new BIOS and unzip it to a 4GB flash drive where there should be just a folder containing the new BIOS,and make sure the file system is FAT32 for the pen drive, it should go pretty easy. -Important-Read the instructions on the website on how to flash the BIOS!!. In the UEFi look for instant flash and it will find your new BIOS on the pen drive, With new BIOS installed you can choose Fatal1y 1 which is his face or Fatal1y 2 which gets rid of the face and gives a different look to the UEFI.
