Default 970 Extreme 4 ... doesn't show all AMD FX CPU in its CPU Support List

I own an ASRock 970 Extreme 4 motherboard since a month ago, and I'd like to upgrade it with a new FX cpu
But its CPU Support List only show FX-8120 with P1.40 bios so far.

In fact, there are some ASRock motherboards with 900 series chipset which don't show all FX series CPUs in their CPU Support List at this moment.
    970 Extreme 3
    970 Extreme 4
    990FX Extreme 3
    990FX Extreme 4
    Fatal1ty 990FX Exrteme 4

Should I suppose that it will need a new bios version in order to support the whole AMD FX series CPUs and ASRock crew is working on it?

    Thanks in advance.-

I have the same MB. Will it only support the 8120FX and not the 8150FX?

Is the limit on this mb the 8120 FX? Perhaps the power draw for the 8150 is too much?

but what about fx6100 and fx4100?

...and I dont think fatal1ty 990fx supports only 3 of those cpus and does not support fx8150, so upgraded bioses are needed very soon!

Perhaps the problem is AMD not releasing the CPUs early to the MB manufacturers to test and write new BIOS parameters. The fx4100 has not yet been released and the 8150/8120s flew off the shelf. I'd give ASrock a little time before I would start blaming them for the delay.

Not agree. The list differs from board to board; they have all CPUs.
Always MB manufacturers get CPUs before they are released publicly. Else, There were CPUs on market without any supporting motherboard!

    Dear all,

    970 Extreme4 and 990FX Professional's CPU support list have CPU FX-8120(125W), FX-6100, FX-4170 and FX-4100 at the present.
Please kindly refer to below link for CPU support list.
    970 Extreme4: ASRock > Products > 970 Extreme4 > CPU Support List
    990FX Professional: ASRock > Products > Fatal1ty 990FX Professional > CPU Support List

We are still testing other AM3+ CPU like FX-8150, FX-8120(95W) and FX-8100.
After we test, we will update the CPU support list right away.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

If any question, please kindly let me know.
    Thanks for your support.

    Have a nice day
