Default Flash bios SPI chip with an EEprom Programmer

The bios does not boot up when i power it up, I cheked the memory and the procesor and they work fine on other motherboard, so I think it might be a bios problem.

In the page of bios downloads of the motherboard (G31M-VS2) only appears files to update when the bios boot or when the operating system is up.

In order to program the chip with my programmer I need the whole file of the bios (a 4MB file).

Is there any place where i can dowload it?

    Thanks for you collaboration

Just download "Instant Flash" version (not DOS nor Windows® version) and extract it:
    ASRock > Products > Motherboard > G31M-VS2 > Download
    Good Luck!

I usually use "flashrom" in Linux as well as "uniflash" under DOS.
It is best to use a separate eeprom programmer which I never had, because it was expensive here (about $200).

I really wish asrock would do something like gigabyte or msi with there bios recovery options
they have a 32 or a 64mb flash to work with there is no reason to not at least leave the boot-block recovery enabled or do something like msi that lets me "boot" another bios from a usb key
