    Default AsRock H67M-GE/HT CIR receiver

    Hi, i'm Christian from Italy.
    I finished my htpc with my asrock H67M-GE\HT but i have a problem.
    The CIR works fine but i would like to know how to set differently the buttons on cir controller.
    I would like to use mediaportal but how to set the buttons to lounch it?

    Christian:

    I suspect your request has not been replied to because not many of us are not familiar with CIR coding and applications.
    Out of curiosity I spent some time trying to understand what you are trying to do by looking up "Consumer IR" and "MediaPortal" on Wikipedia.

    Based on your question regarding how to re-program the "buttons" in MediaPortal, I suggest you read what WikiPedia has to say on the subject and go from there. I am in the process of building a new system and noticed a header for CIR on the ASRock Z68 Extreme 4 motherboard, but at this moment have had no time to explore it's capabilities. So to me, you are the expert at the moment. However I am interested in what you are trying to do with CIR and perhaps others may join in once they have better understanding of your requirements.
