    Hello.
I'm a user of audio codec VIA VT2020, built in AsRock 890gx extreme3 motherboard. OS is Win7 64.
I'm try to download latest driver (v8700a_20100923) from oficcial site: VIA Drivers Download - VIA Technologies, Inc.
Afer download the sound is distorted. it was very quiet and it is impossible to understand the voice. But the distorted music is normal volume.
I'm try to download audio drivers from native disk of my AsRock 890gx extreme 3, but problem is remains.

In addition to the driver I did not change anything else. Everything worked, before i did it.

On my disk i have 2 folders (in Audio section) 1) Realtek 2) HD. In the Realtek i can see the two type of driver, in HD - 3. I'm try do download all of them , but nothing.
Also, i'm try to start the autorun on my disk, after start i have an offert about download the single version of driver - 8.1.00.35. (to replace my 8,3,00,32 from official site).

Thank you for help in advance!

    Try this:
    ASRock > Products > Motherboard > 890GX Extreme3 > Download

    Or this driver:
    Realtek

(Realtek's HD driver is compatible with most HD audio chips)
