Default Computer turns on but no video shows.

    Hello everyone,

I was attempting to fix one of my cousin's desktops. I'm still learning all this computer stuff. So, please consider that you're dealing with a noob here.

So, I left my desktop. I had to go out and when I came back it was off. I tried to turn it on again, but nothing happened. Something that I noticed when I turned it on it was that the fans and hard drive would work. The power button led would not turn on either. But I'd get no video. I tried the same cable and monitor on another computer and it works.

After unplugging the ram and every other piece of hardware, nothing happened. So I decided to swap the motherboard and got a ASROCK N68CS-UCC. Still the same thing happened. This time though, the computer would turn on when I plugged it in. The power button would not still work. I double checked the LED and PWR plugs in the motherboard and it turned on, but it doesn't anymore.

So, I kept reading and proceeded to replace the power supply. And it's still the same problem. The desktop came with a 300w PS unit originally. I put a 430w PS unit this time. But still, I get no video and it turns on every time I plug it in.

OH yeah... and I get no beeps or POST whatsoever for any reason. The only thing left to troubleshoot would be the processor. But wouldn't the motherboard POST if the processor was the problem?

Any help is more than welcome. Thanks a lot in advance!
