    Default Asrock P67 Extreme4 won't start

    Hi
    (sorry for my poor English)
Yesterday my pc shout down while watching movie, and it won't start at all.
First what i checked was PSU (enermax liberty 620) but its fine because i have the same in another PC and on both pc won't start.
power button give no effect, but when i press CLR CMOS on motherboard fans move just a little bit and nothing happen, from psu i can only hear some beep while pressing CLR CMOS. so i unplugged everything and plug only 24pin and 8pin, still nothing, so i unplugged 8 pin and leave only 24pin, i also connect GPU, and than everything run. fans on GPU, CPU, PSU. mobo dont post any code. i haven't plugged monitor to GPU to check any bios code cuz i can't do it atm.
can it be only MOBO or CPU as well?

Have you made any recent hardware changes to your system?
You tested your system with an identical psu from another system and your system still won't start.
With your psu unplugged, remove and re-insert your memory and all plug-in cards.
You might need to carefully clean the electrical contacts with 91% pure rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol.
If none of these suggestions help, remove your motherboard from the case, set the motherboard beside your computer case on a cardboard box and boot with a minimal amount of hardware:
    • cpu and heatsink
    • case speaker connected to the motherboard speaker pins
    • ps/2 keyboard
    • only one memory module
    • video card

Disconnect all wires or cables that aren't necessary for booting into your bios.
You might need to test with a different memory module and/or video card.

Your system will not post if the EPS_12V (or ATX_12V) cable is not connected to the motherboard.
It looks like there might be a problem with the 8-pin EPS_12V motherboard connector.
Carefully inspect both sides of the motherboard to see if there are any signs of burnt electrical traces or components.
Can you borrow another power supply that uses an ATX_12V 4-pin power cable?

did you buy a b3 version new or did you exchange a b2 for b3 and get the extended guarantee?
Either way you should still be within guarantee.
Shutting down mid movie doesnt sound good.
The asrock p67 boards seem, in my experience a little sensitive. My first one fired up fine even tho it was slightly damaged in transit, but I wasnt worried cos I knew I would be replacing it with b3.
The b3 took awhile to work properly I had to reseat the gx card a couple of times, and reset cmos(only when pc was cold and disconnected from the power socket)
Try all the usual and the things pj has posted^.then if your sure its the board you should be able to get a replacement.
