    Default ASrock 990Fx extreme3

    I have an ASrock 990FX extreme3 mobo and in my device manager under other devices i have a SSA controller with the yellow exclamation mark and it says no driver installed. I tried to do an update driver and install driver to no avail..so what is this SSA controller.

    windows 7 home premium

    mobo asrock 990FX etreme3
    cpu FX4100
    videocard pny gt240
    memory 8gb Gskill sniper series

    I googled SSA controller and found a few references to this:

    Try moving the USB card to another PCI slot. This problem can be caused by shared resources.

    I dont have a usb pci card in it..i read that too..the only thing i have in pci slot is my video card.

    Fixed

    The USB 3.0 driver wasnt installed..i installed the driver and all is good now...im not even using the USB ports.
