    Default Asrock A75M-ITX - HDMI-CEC

    Hi everyone,

I am thinking about building a HTPC with following specifications:
    • Asrock A75M-ITX
    • AMD A6-3500

Now the ideal thing would off course be that it will be possible to control the htpc with the remote control of the television.
The technology is some years old, but it isn't many implemented in devices.
It is actually commonly implemented in many tv's.

My question: does the Asrock A75M-ITX in combination with the A6-3500 support CEC on it's HDMI output?

I've got those bits in my HTPC and they're working a treat with my LG tv. I'm using a MCE remote though and have it programmed to power up the TV. Got a dual USB tuner so never really go into the TV settings.
Audio just feeds out to amp / speakers.
One thing that didn't work correctly was the Goodnight LED feature so I used a concept from SlickSolutions called Ledsdriver. Basically just connected th power LED to the com port along with a jumper and it works a treat.

Just checked CEC and it seems my TV does not detect the motherboard as CEC compliant BUT I might not have it currently enabled in bios either. Giv me a few dys and I'll check
