Default P67 Extreme4 Gen 3Powers off after a few seconds??

I've installed my mobo, CPU, RAM, 1000W PS, video card, SSD, HDD and ODD (the latter three are all SATA3, plugged into Intel 1, Intel 2, Marvell 1, respectively). I think I have all the headers plugged in right. I haven't hooked up my fans, mouse or keyboard yet: I just want to make sure I have everything plugged in correctly before I make any software/BIOS adjustments.

So I boot up. I get the ASRock splash screen for a few seconds, and then I am brought here:

    <iframe title="Preview" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" style="padding:0;background-color:#fcfcfc;" src=" 21133&authkey=AImW67GjKs2PNI0" frameborder="0" height="239px" scrolling="no" width="320px"></iframe>

Which looks good, I think. It sees my CPU, my RAM, my SSD and HDD. I don't see my ODD, which is bugging me because I need it to install Win7. However, my bigger problem at the moment is that the PC often powers off spontaneously. Sometimes it powers off a few seconds after I turn it on; sometimes I'll get to this screen above and it'll snap off after a few minutes there; sometimes it won't power off at all.

EDIT - I'm a stupid-ass. I didn't think that powering the CPU on for 30 seconds without a heatsink or fan would be long enough to cause an overheating problem. But after some research, it appears that I thought wrong.

I didn't smell or see any smoke nor did I hear anything strange. Do you suppose I was lucky enough not to fry it? Did the overheating shutdown save me from my idiotic self?

Any ideas would be most welcome. Thank you!
