Asrock z68 Fatal1ty prof gen 3-After a power outage, boot failure during post! POST progresses to 0xA3 IDE Enable and mobo shuts down. Can anybody suggest my next moves?
    Thanks!

Try using the clear CMOS button then set defaults then before saving and exiting make any mods to the UEFI/BIOS that you had before except no O'clocking yet and SEE if that resolves the issue. If not then disconnect your PSU from the A/C power and follow the procedure to clear CMOS by moving the jumper pin (see manual) then on powering up make sure you mod the UEFI/BIOS with the changes that you implemented before - any O'Clock. If that still does not resolve the issue then perhaps the PSU suffered some sort of electrical component damage when the power came back on, in which case try another PSU.
Please post back and keep us in the loop on your findings
    Good Luck!

Thank you SaphireX. I used clear CMOS button and POST still hangs on "A3-IDE Enable" however the motherboard doesn't automatically shut down now. I also attempted the jumper method with the same results. I will now try to locate an adequate psu and will keep you posted on any progress. Thanks again!

OK, bought a PSU tester and the unit checks out 100%. Getting a little frustrated.

completely remove the mb battery and leave out overnight then try, sometimes it needs that long to fully clear, also hold in front power switch while its unplugged from the wall socket to fuly discharge the mb of any power

if that doesnt work then you might have some damaged components, but i think a long cmos clear will fix it

Yes, a DVD burner, will remove IDE cable in the morning in the morning and give it a go, not at home now.
