    Hi I hope some one can help me I have Just built a new system with a extreme3 990fx board 1.20 bios, Amd fx6100 cpu, msi 6770 ddr5 graphics card 600w coolermaster igreen psu, 8gb 1333mhz Ram my issue is odd as it boots but I see nothing until windows kicks in after 5 short beeps and 1 long higher pitched bios is also huge and does not fit on screen and windows is not showing 6 cores ??

    Can you try to be a little mroe coherent? It's hard to understand what you're trying to say. First things first, reseat the RAM & CPU. Check the CPU for bent pins. Try one stick of RAM at a time.

    ram has been tested 1 stick a time and I have also refitted the cpu. Running windows7 Ultimate which does boot I just get a really annoying 5 short beeps and 1 higher pitched every boot up and windows device only shows 4 not 6 cores
