Default Etron USB3.0 BSOD issues with Extreme 4 Gen 3

BSOD every time i unplug/replug my Logitech g700 mouse cable from the front USB 3.0 port. I uninstalled the Etron drivers, downloaded from the Asrock site, reinstalled and still nothing. It also screws up data transfer on external hard drives.

Is there any way to use a different controller for the USB 3.0 port and get rid of this damned Etron crap? This is ridiculous.

I downloaded the ones off the Asrock site so I guess they should be? I couldnt find any other place online that has Etron drivers, even tried the Etron website and it appears it's just there for show.

Well im thinking by all rights the ones I downloaded SHOULD be newer since they are 0.96 while the one you linked is .109. .9 is greater than .1. Or do version numbers not follow proper decimal points and I should just view it as 109 is greater than 96 so use the one with the most digits?

0.109 is the latest. Asrock should recall all boards with Etron USB 3.0 host controllers. I don't think that a controller which causes BSOD is useful.
Etron is a source of random BSOD.
I have trashed my Asrock mobo with this Etron junk.

i'm late to the party. but i got my hands on ETRON USB 3 version .111 which are the latest as of this post. they solved my logitech quckcam pro 9000 not working. ETRON is a disgrace for making us hunt down drivers just to make the USB socket even work for USB 2 devices let alone USB 3. I tell you right now that ETRON will be out of business soon. It says something when ETRON will not even post their own drivers on their website.

    HERE's the Link >>> ETRON

    Good Luck
