Thanks Acebmxer. Sorry that was not my question.

For Intel Rapid storage : I was trying to run OS from SSD and allocating some space for Caching so that my documents which are on HD can also have fast access time. Is this config not possible?

This was in response Wazza300's solution.

No, that's not how it's designed to work. Cache is really only useful if you do not have a SSD for your OS.

You can only cache from one disk onto the other and you don't want to use your HDD as a cache, nor can you use only part of your SSD as a cache with the OS on the other main part.

Yes, works. I use cache and boot volume on the same SSD.Z68 - SRT cache and boot volume on a single SSD disk - it works! - AnandTech ForumsNote: The use of SSD is very unstable. BSOD's all the time. If this happens to you, I suggest using enterprise drivers, more specifically this one:Step 1 - http://www.station-drivers.com/telec...ivers.com).exeStep 2 - x86 - http://win-lite.de/benutzer/fernando...016%20WHQL.rarorx64 - http://win-lite.de/benutzer/fernando...016%20WHQL.rarDelete any RST installation, install the step 1, then replace the driver in step 2. Enjoy.
