I have the P67 Extreme 6 with BIOS 1.80. In the boot order setting option 1, I put the DVD ROM as first and the Hard Drive C as second. This allows me to boot from DVD or CD. However if the DVD drive is empty, BIOS stops with a blinking flash and will not automatically go into the second drive that is booting from C. I have built a lot of computers with ASUS or Gigabyte motherboards. All of them automatically boot to the second drive if the first one is not bootable.

I then have to go into BIOS and change the boot order to C then DVD drive before the system boots into windows. This is very annoying. Anyone has the same problem and can offer a solution? Thanks.
