Default Asrock Pro3 Gen3 will not boot or beep or show any signs of life.

I built a new system with a pro3 gen3 i3 2120 corsair cx430 psu in an elite 430 case. I put everything togeather and it wont post, boot, beep, lights or even spin the fans. PSU seams fine jumped the fan and it kicks on. checked the 24 pin power with a multireader and its getting power. When I plug in the 24pin power and flick the switch on the psu it makes a wierd huming noise and fan doesnt come on. Took out the motherboard placed it on a cardboard box and only plugged in the 24pin, 8pin, cpu and cpu fan and it wont even beep or boot. I cant wrap my head around the fact it will do nothing not even beep. I would have swore it to be the psu but with everything i check on that its fine. I guess I will have to RMA my board but hate to wait.

yeah paper clip method and with a multimeter to check voltage coming out the 24pin it seamed OK. I had a feeling newegg shipped it to me in some shady packaging the box had a crease across the top and the anti static bag was tore were the motherboard was rubbing through in a few spots. Awe well hope to have better luck with the next.

Heres a little tidbit to top off my night I just was taking the cpu out to get it ready for sending it back to newegg and i dropped the cpu on the socket. I bent two pins not very noticeable but I may have just bought two boards. :-( It keeps getting better.

depending on how bent the pins are they can be striated out. Just be very careful when doing so.

They seam to be in the same location not bad at all just when you look at it you can see they are a little out of wack the way the light reflect on them. I have never RMA'ed anything with newegg before so we will see.
