Hi all,

My system was as follows:

ASRock Z68 Extreme4 (B3)
Intel Core i5-2500K

  • OCZ SSD Petrol 120GB - OS Partition
  • 750GB Samsung hard drive - programs
  • OCZ SSD 60GB - cache

The cache drive appeared to fail, so I RMAed it.

However, when I add the replacement to my machine, the BIOS screen freezes for about 2 minutes. No keys are responded to. Eventually, the machine appears to reboot, then I can log in. However, when I then go into Computer Management, I can see the new drive there, unallocated, but the system will then freeze.

Any ideas? Is this to do with RAID settings, perhaps? Unfortunately I can't access them in the BIOS.
