    Is there a problem to install a PCI-E ?

    Good question about the Windows 8 drivers, I see other boards have Windows 8 drivers in the Beta driver area, but not the X79. The X79 chipset is different than all other Intel chipsets, and has many unique drivers that only it uses.

    If you check Intel's web site, and search for Windows 8 drivers for their X79 boards, the only ones they have that are shared by your board are the RSTe RAID driver, and the chipset device software (inf files). You could try those until ASRock provides their versions.
