Default Boot sometimes puts me in BIOS

    I have Win 7 installed on my P67 Fatal1ty

when I boot, it will show the start-up screen, then boot into windows.

sometimes though, it just boots into BIOS, and not windows.

Is something wrong when it does that?

Is it a setting I can change?

That is strange, if you aren't pressing any keys when the PC boots. Usually, if there is a problem or after clearing the BIOS, you'll see a message like "... press F1 to enter BIOS...". When it goes into the BIOS, do you then do Save and exit, or Exit without saving? If you do Exit without saving, and your BIOS settings are what they normally are when it starts the BIOS on its own, something is causing it to start the BIOS. I've never seen a BIOS that has an option to enter it automatically, or not, but every board/BIOS is different, so someone with your board could tell you. I've never seen that myself with my PCs. Check the BIOS jumper on your board, that it is in place and not damaged.

Thanks, I have exited the bios with saving and without. This happens randomly, maybe 1 out of 10 boots.
