Check that all hardware and cables are fully seated.
Make sure that your power supply cables and power cord are OK.
The problem might be related to your power supply, can you test with a different psu?

    Dear ProfJim

I have updated my system specs. 2ndly as i was desperate i updated the bios to latest version as i thought that its some bios issue, via its bios updater online (which was located somewhere in bios update in motherboard bios setting) after successfully updating the bios the system stops to even giving display. the led/ digital display within motherboard is still giving some figures then restart again and again. what should i do.. i need my pc up to its pace.

Unplug your power supply cable from the wall outlet.
Remove all but one memory module to boot into the bios.
Make sure that all hardware, cables and wire are properly connected.
Check your motherboard user manual for the procedure to properly clear your CMOS.
When your system boots, watch the motherboard's LED display codes and write down the last code number that is displayed before your system auto reboots.
The last boot code that is displayed should help direct us to the problem.
You will probably need to load optimized bios settings once you can get into the bios.

If your system still won't start, there are some further steps that might help.

You're welcome, I'm glad to hear that your system is now OK.
The problem was probably due to hardware or a cable that wasn't properly seated in the motherboard slot or connector. The electrical connection was good enough for two days, but eventually failed with the heating and cooling cycles that occur every time you turn your system on and off. It could have been a memory module, video card or power supply cable that wasn't properly connected.

The specific problem can sometimes be found by the last post code that is displayed by the motherboard's diagnostic LED.
Sometimes a problem like you had can happen after many months or years.

I think that you are a mind reader.
My next suggestion would have been to remove your motherboard from the computer case and to then remove all hardware that isn't necessary for booting into the bios. You would then place the motherboard on a cardboard box beside your computer case and then add one component at a time to see which one was causing the boot problem.

When I build a new system, I always build it outside of the computer case, and then do several hours of stress testing after I've installed the operating system. Once everything checks out OK, I then install the hardware in the computer case.
