Default Did I fry my motherboard?

Here is my current problem. So I reformatted my hardrive, installed windows 7 64 bit no problem. Got all the windows updates and started installing my own stuff. One thing I noticed was my ram was saying 8gigs but only 3.44 available. So after checking around, I enabled memory remapping on my motherboard. Now I seem to freeze constantly. Sometimes I get into windows and a few seconds later it freezes. Other times it freezes before I get past start up. I've tried repairing, it either freezes or finds no issue. I disabled my memory remapping and it still happens. I've restored defaults on my bios and still freezing. I even froze in safe mode.

So all this points to me as a motherboard issue. What do you guys thing? Sounds about right to me with my experience though I can't see why its a consistent issue after enabling it once, but stranger things have happened and motherboards are notoriously fragile.

BTW my mobo is a asrock p45TS bios p1.70(latest)

Hey doc, I've got a severe headache!!! What's wrong.

We can best help you after you create a detailed hardware list in the PC Specs portion of your
forum profile at the bottom of the
profile page or in your forum signature
Be sure to include brand names and model numbers.

Give us a detailed hardware list and we can help.

Clear your cmos again and boot with only one memory module installed.
See if you can boot into the bios and leave it there for 15 minutes.
If it's stable, boot into windows safe mode and leave it at the desktop for 5 - 15 minutes.
If it's still stable, it sounds like your memory voltages or other settings are wrong.

Restored defaults, or cleared the BIOS/CMOS? If not cleared, clear it with the jumper and even pull the battery for a complete clear.

Otherwise, more information needed, as Prof. Jim said.

Yeah, it must have been the voltage. Running just one stick and I have been fine all night. I will have to look into changing it up so I can use my full 8g
