running ram at 2133 would benefit the APU more than the 1600. i guess compatibility issue. dammit come on asrock you got a APU mobo and you addvertise 2600+ but we have this sort of thing to deal with. most of the ram on the compatibility list online is outdated and out of stock. i was about to purchase the OP's 2133 ram until i read through this thread. now i'm not sure where to get ram that will run 1866+ with this mobo. sigh

One post and you're already declaring defeat??? And even before you hold them in your sweaty hands ...........

You've got seven posts, now with this ram on the way. So that us other Users here know what you have there system-wise, now would be a good time to go HERE, scroll down and fill in the "System Specs' and select Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

That way if and when the time comes to offer help on this ram we'll have a better understanding of what you're working with.

1866 isn't out of the realm of possibilities here. 2133, meh. It's a crap shoot and as you're aware(if you weren't you are now) it is totally dependent on how good the memory controller is on your processor. With each processor and maybe to some extent the motherboard being the deciding factor on high you can go.
#1 - Please, when seeking help, enter the make and model of ALL parts that your system is comprised of in your Signature, or at least the model #'s in your System Specs, then "Save' it.

#3 - Please use the eXtreme Outer Vision Power Supply Calculator found HERE to determine if it might be your PSU at issue.
