    I have the N68-S.

Again today I tried to flash the bios according to ASRock's guide and I cannot get the smart utility to show up in my BIOS currently. I also tried making an msdos bootable pen drive, and running the msdos version of the bios update, and still it did not work. my bios sees the jump drive though, and I have boot from usb enabled.

Question Re: Help with start-up on old rebuild ASRock N68-S

OK so I was able to succesfully update the BIOS to version 2.10. When I install the new athlon II 260 processor, I get no display, or power to the keyboard. What could be causing that. Again I reset CMOS and still no display and no power to keyboard. When I put the old sempron cpu pack in, i get boot screen and can access the bios.

What could be the problem now?
