Default P67 Extrme 6 Intel, Giving error 36 or 62 and freezing.

Hi this is my first post so go easy on me.

    Specs

    ASRock P67 Extreme 6 1155
    i5 2500k
    8 GB Gskill 2133mhz
    Seagate Barracuda 2tb SATA 3 64MB Cache
    NVIDIA 7900GTX
    Jeantech 700w Modular PSU
    ASUS DRW B3ST Optical Drive

I built this PC myself and is by no means my first build, I did a breadboard setup and everything worked fine, put everything in the case and all was good.
Pretty much every time I start up I get either 36 or 62 on the Dr Debug LED and my Graphics card fan goes on full.
If I power cycle a few times the PC will load up and work for hours on end; until I shut it down.
I just don't get why it freezes at post pretty much every time I load it up, No screen or anything.

Another thing is my System Panel header is acting weird, this is not a big problem but I would like to put the side of my case back on someday.
My case power button works fine as I have tested it with another motherboard but when I connect it to the ASRock it will not work, I have tested the pins by shorting them with a screwdriver and they work fine. Very strange, and I have made sure I am connecting the cable to the right pins. This is driving me nuts as the pins are working and the power button is working but when together, they don't work Grrrrrrrrr lol

Debug Code 36 = CPU post-memory initialization. System management mode initialization
Debug Code 62= Installation of South Bridge Run Time Services

This system is not overclocked yet as I would like it to run stable before I mess around with that.
I have tried moving RAM outwards to inwards towards CPU and using only 1 module but to no avail.
    Bios is latest 2.10
Removed everything apart from crucial components and still no use
Its strange as it works fine when it does boot???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    G

What's the model number of your Jeantech PSU and how old is it?
#1 - Please, when seeking help, enter the make and model of ALL parts that your system is comprised of in your Signature, or at least the model #'s in your System Specs, then "Save' it.

#3 - Please use the eXtreme Outer Vision Power Supply Calculator found HERE to determine if it might be your PSU at issue.

Can you borrow another power supply to test with?

I don't have access to one at the moment, but I could buy one.
Can you recommend any half decent ones, I plan on getting an EVGA NVIDIA GTX670 in the near future.
What makes you think its the power supply?

A failing power supply can cause any number of problems that don't appear to be related to reliable power.
System instability and random problems might be due to a failing power supply.

I think that your Jeantech psu is a low end unit and some/many low or middle quality power supplies have problems when they are 3 - 5 years old.

Power supplies made by Seasonic are some of the best power supplies.
Seasonic also makes power supplies for some Antec, Corsair, and all XFX models.
Seasonic manufactures some of the quietest power supplies.
I think that you'll find the best price on any XFX brand power supply.

SuperFlower also makes excellent 80 plus gold rated power supplies and they make some modes for Kingwin, Rosewill, NZXT(?) and possibly others.
I prefer spending a bit more for an 80plus gold rated model instead of the lower rated, but still decent 80plus bronze rated models.

The best psu review sites are JonnyGuru, HardOCP, HardwareSecrets, PCPER, XbitLabs and TechPowerUp.
These sites do rigorous testing and I wouldn't hesitate to buy any of their highly recommend models.

A high quality 650 watt psu should be adequate for a single card setup, but 750 - 850 watts should be used with an SLI or CrossFireX setup.
Check out eXtreme Power Supply Calculator to verify what size power supply you should buy.

Thank you for your in depth response, you are a gent and a scholar.
I will get a new power supply and report back and give an update.
I love this motherboard, its my first ASRock and apart from these small problems it Rocks (excuse the pun).
    Thanks again for the input.

You're welcome, let us know if a new, quality psu helps.
A gent and a scholar? Careful, you're ruining my image.
Hopefully a new psu will get you off your rocky road (pun intended).
Yep, I can be a punny guy too.
