    Question Asrock X79 Extreme 11

    Hi my Extreme 11 has 2 on board molex connectors for extra pci-e power

    and i was wondering if i need to use both when running my 4 GTX 670's

    in SLI on can i just use 1 to make cable management easier for myself.

    While I'm not ASRock Tech Support were I to venture an answer I'd have to say yes you should/do.

    The SLI/XFIRE_PWR1 likely supplies additional power to/for the two cards in slots 1 and 3, with SLI/XFIRE_PWR2 likely providing additional power to/for the two cards in slots 5 and 7.

    hehe "make cable management easier for myself". When the molex sits smack dab in the middle of the board, how much easier can it get?
