Default mic input impedence on FM2A75 Pro4

I am getting a very very low signal on the mic input on my new FM2A75 Pro4. It has been suggested that the problem may be a high impedence mic being used with a low impedence input. I have been unable to find a specification for the input impedence on this board. Does anyone know where I might find out?
    Thanks

OMG, good luck getting that spec, sorry to say. I've never seen that included in any mother board's specs, or in a review of a mother board.

The best I could find is a general, widely varying typical spec of 1k to 20k Ohms.

Also, the input sensitivity is generally high, at 10mV minimum.

The PC microphone inputs are very simple, not balanced of course, and designed to work with cheap electret condenser microphones.

Yes it would not be suitable for high impedance mics of around 50K....These were mainly used old valve amps. Normal dynamic mics of 600ohms should be OK though... Some mics have an impedance switch..
