Default ASRock Z77 Motherboard with Sapphire Ati 6950

    Hi,
I recently picked up a new processor (Intel Pentium G2130) as well as a new motherboard (ASRock Z77 Extreme3).
I really like the board and it's on-board graphics chip but I would prefer to use my dedicated graphics card (Sapphire ATI HD6950 OC edition) with this board.
The card fits in a 16x PCIE slot (which the Z77 has) but when I turned it on I never got a post screen. All the drivers have been installed
and if I understand correctly it should be working. I know the card works as it was in an older ATI/AMD build and ran fine.
If someone could help that would be great.
    Thanks.

You have to set the display for the video card in the bios, if it wont work I'd try booting into safe mode. Also clear the Cmos after setting it up in the bios.

Does your board have more then 1 PCI x16 slot?
Have you tried your card in the others?
