Default a67 Extreme4 gen3 USB device driver issue

I have been having an issue installing what I assume is the USB3 drivers.

All my USB2 ports work fine, my blue USB3 ports do nothing, no matter what I plug into them.
Ive tried various driver versions, from USB3(v1.06) to USB3_Etron(v0.115). No matter what I install it still shows as a yellow ! in device manager and listed as "Universal serial Buss (USB) Controller".
Im at wits end here, and out of ideas.

    Any tips?

    What OS?

Other then the USB drivers, did you install the other board drivers?
(Don't know that it matters, but thinking it may?)

Ah sorry forgot that part somehow
    its Win 7 x64

Yea all the other drivers are installed. Actually its been running for a year+ without the USB3, I never needed it before and decided to quit fighting with it long ago.
But now I got an external HD I need the speed.
All my other devices work fine, and no unknown hardware in the devicemanager other than this one.
