    Spoke to soon

Went to download a movie and accidentally turned it off, restarted it to check the fan speed and it was back at 50% and temp at 66c

Turned it back to full speed will wait 20 mins and report back

dean, AXTU settings for fan speeds override the BIOS settings, but only until you reboot the PC. If you check the "Autorun on start" in AXTU, then the AXTU settings will be applied when Windows boots.

You can of course set the CPU fan speed in the BIOS to full speed, and then not need to deal with AXTU settings. If you do check the Autorun in AXTU, and the BIOS and AXTU CPU fan speed settings do not match, then AXTU will override the BIOS settings. AXTU provides the ability to change the CPU fan speed any time in Windows, so is there if you need it.

    Auto run is checked

What do you think of that temp 54c?

The only thing about the fan at full speed is does get a bit noisy, any thoughts

Given the CPU in the VisionX, a mobile CPU, and the cooling used, basically the same (but larger) type of cooler as a laptop PC, that temperature is probably normal.

Mobile CPUs have a much higher maximum temperature than desktop CPUs, the i5-3210M CPU (in the VisionX 321B) has a maximum rated temperature of 105C. The similar rated temperature of an i5 desktop CPU is 65C - 75C.

The HD7850M graphics chip in that PC is a good chip, and all graphics chips run warm, many creating more heat than a CPU.

The CPU cooler in that PC is cooling the CPU, the HD7850M graphics chip, and the HM77 chipset, so has a lot of heat to deal with. I'm curious what the graphics chip temperature is, but you won't see that listed in AXTU as far as I know.

    I'm still having problems

Last night watching movies the visions shut down every 20 minutes and went to a tan colored screen , which I could not alter until I shut the PC down, which I know is not good

It was not hot to the touch, any ideas what could be the problem

    Thanks Dean
