    Default ASRock Z77 Pro 3 integrated audio not working

    On my previous pc i was using Sound Blaster Audigy 2 card, but now on Win8 there is no support for such old card and microphone is not working with old drivers, so i pulled out that card, installed drivers for integrated card and its not working : / everything looks fine except for that there is no sound at all... please guys help me : ( i downloaded driver from this page

    i tried also with some from Realtek page, none of them worked. Please help, i cant talk on the microphone, or i will must buy new sound card...

    Are you using the front panel for this? The cable to your front panel likely has both AC97 and HDAudio connectors, but of course you can use only one of these. You need to match which type of connector you've used in your bios, or it won't work. Switching it around will also require a driver reinstall, afaik.

    No, I'm not using the front panel, i tried but its not working too, i tried to unplug front panel cables from motherboard but it's doesn't working too. I tried to disable HD audio in the bios as someone suggested in the other thread with a little bit simmilar problem as mine, didnt worked.

    Thank You for reply, but i see that i will need to buy sound card...

    Did you remove your old audio drivers before trying the onboard audio?
    Are there any device errors in windows Device Manager?
    Is everything properly configured in the audio software and in windows Control Panel Sound Recording?

    Yes i did. Few times. No, there is no errors, i checked every single setting ~10 times, everything is fine except for that there is no sound...
