Unhappy New rig doesn't show my GFX Card.

Just upgraded my entire rig and everything to
    :Asrock z87 LGA 1150
    :Intel i7 4470K Haswell
    :MSI geforce GTX 660 ti
    :16g ballistix (2x8) DDR3
    :120g SSD Samsung Mage
    :465g HD

I've installed everything correctly or so I think and my motherboard won't pick up my graphics card, the blue LED lights up and the fans turn but when I check for my adapter it comes up as a; Standard VGA Graphics Adapter.

Can anyone help me out? I haven't changed default bios settings.

Back up a second... so your monitor is plugged into the MSI graphics card, and you are not using the Intel graphics on your CPU? You are in Windows, and in Device Manager, and you see an entry for Standard VGA Graphics Adapter?
