Default AsRock z87e ITX linux wifi driver ?

    Hi,
I'm trying to install Ubuntu OS on the mb asrock z87e, and looking for the wifi driver.
No drivers were found on the cd nor on the support web site.
Does anyone have any information on this point?
What is the exact name and version of hardware component used for the wifi function on this mb?
Which kind of linux driver could I use?
    Thanks for your answers.

I downloaded Wireless Lan driver ver:6.30.95.31, win7 from the ASRock downloads page for your motherboard.
    The file name is WLan-Broadcom(v6.30.95.31).zip
A web search using broadcom wireless driver provides several links.
802.11 Linux STA driver | Broadcom might work for you.
Browse their website for more possible solutions.

    Your motherboard user manual states:

    Hi profJim,
There were a kernel panic when installing this driver under Ubuntu, so I might use the cable network only...
Thank you for your quick answer.
    Cheers.

From the LinuX link that I posted:
    These packages contain Broadcom's IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n hybrid Linux® device driver for use with Broadcom's BCM4311-, BCM4312-, BCM4313-, BCM4321-, BCM4322-, BCM43224-, and BCM43225-, BCM43227- and BCM43228-based hardware.

    ....snip....

Support questions for the latest version of these drivers may be directed to linux-wlan-client-support-list@broadcom.com.
I don't know if any of the hardware listed above applies to your motherboard.
Send an email to Broadcom to see if they can help you further.
Include the following information from the ASRock downloads page for your motherboard:
    • windows 8: Bluetooth driver ver:12.0.0.5502
    • windows 7: Bluetooth driver ver:6.5.1.3703
    • windows 8: Wireless Lan driver ver:6.30.95.29
    • windows 7: Wireless Lan driver ver:6.30.95.31

I'm not familiar with Linux, but a kernel panic doesn't sound good.
