    Default Asrock B85m-ITX BSOD

    Hi,

I just got this Asrock B85m-ITX, installed new system. It booted fine without me tweaking anything. I decided to flash BIOS to the latest 1.40. Now it won't get past windows 7 boot animation or even windows 8 boot animation. When I disabled all cstate option(c3 c5 c6) it would boot to windows. But randomly it BSOD on windows 8 and 7, mostly when gaming (dota 2). I'm on windows 7 64 bit right now. I installed the latest inf and vga drivers from intel.

How can I make the C states work again like before when using the factory BIOS?
I'm not sure if the instability is caused by motherboard BIOS or VGA drivers or INF drivers. (Speedstep might also be causing this since turning it off will result less BSOD)
Can I flash back to factory BIOS before Overclocking feature for K series was enabled? If so, the factory BIOS is not on asrock website.
Also Open Case Fan Feature doesn't work anymore.

    Please Help :(

Bump.. Update... Looks like turning on multi core enhancement makes everything work including all c state. No BSOD as of now. Power option is set to high performance. Will test for balance performance power option mode with speedstep enabled. Can someone explain why suddenly everything works with multi core enhancement?

Update.. Balanced power option seems to be stable with speedstep. No BSOD. Turbo Boost can also hit max turbo frequency indicated by intel only if micro core enhancement is on. Why is turning on micro core enhancement required on bios 1.40 just to get a stable system?
