I will try to backup the C drive only.
Been using Cobian Backup and no issues so far.
Just liked Windows backup because it backed up the whole volume on a network share and took faster since it was just a few large files and took 30 mins to backup 190GB of data.
Using Cobian Backup takes about 2 hours backing amount of data.

    Update on this:
Tried to backup just C drive and it failed with same error. Tried to backup just D drive and failed on that.
BUT, it DID complete a system image backup only which, I am okay with!!
So, do not know why Windows Backup can only make a system backup and not specific locations or default locations so I will go with it.
Perhaps its because I have the C drive as an SSD and a Seagate Barracuda drive as D drive?
I also have redirected the library files to save to D drive rather than C to save the 70GB left on the SSD.
