    Default Asrock VisionX 420D

    Hey guys,
I saw a new Asrock VisionX 420D and actually so want to buy it, but... why DVD Super Multi instead of BD Combo? What happens? 420D page on asrock.com says about "supporting BD3D,Experience the absolutely realistic Blu-ray 3D display", but in the same time 420D has only DVD Super Multi... It is possible to buy something like this and install it instead of bundled DVD Super Multi? Will it work well or I might have some problems with this?

Also, i want to use this pc for non-professional video editing/rendering/DVD mastering (SD format content, capture from old miniDV tapes). Will the performance of this pc be enough for this? I guess HD8850M can be used for rendering too with OpenCL?

On the VisionX Series (Haswell) page is a link to the AVL List (link to pdf) that states the BD drives they have found to fit and function:

    Code:
    BD Combo Philips-Liteon PLDS/4ETS
    (Slot-in) Philips-Liteon PLDS/DC-6E2SH

Thanks for this info. I got a DC-6E2SH from Amazon.com for less than $60 and it fit my VisionX 420d perfectly!
