Default Not recognizing second GPU - HELP

I have the ASRock 970 Extreme 4 mobo. I got everything working with 1 video card and just put in my 2nd, but the computer won't recognize it. The cards are identicle: MSI Radeon 290 R9

Both cards works, I tested them. The power is getting to them as I've tested that.

    It simply won't show up...

Just got the board this week. Please HELP

    Hi,

I imagine you may have one of the problems below:
    • PSU not handling the load (you should have at least a 800W power supply)
    • Crossfire setup problem

You can see a bit of crossfire details on the link: Radeon R9-290 Crossfire review - Multi-GPU mode explained

    Hope this helps
