Default ASRock 970 extreme4 and LGA1155 socket compatible?

I need to know if I can use an Intel Core i7-2600k (3.40Ghz) LGA1155 in my ASRock 970 extreme4 motherboard? I am about to purchase but need to know if this will be compatible with my motherboard. Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks!

No. You cannot use AMD Processors in Intel Motherboards and vice versa. Just be glad that you can at least reuse the RAM.
