    Default G41C-GS 2x4GB RAM compatible DDR3

I would like to know what other people are getting to work on this MOBO. The QVL is 1 not up to date and 2 does not have any 8GB RAM on it for DDR3. The G.Skill rip jaws that I got does not work. part#F3-8500CL7D-8GBRL. I would like to put in 2x4GB of DDR3 that I can go on to newegg today and it is still for sale. Could some one PLEASE tell me what part# of RAM that they are using with the G41C-GS. Thanks.

Not posting this to flit you off or the like, the below person stated on 10/18/2013 that their G41C-GS and F3-8500CL7D-8GBRL got along.

    Single review: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Desktop Memory Model F3-8500CL7D-8GBRL - Newegg.com

Are you running flashed with the latest/newest BIOS revision, 1.40 ?

I updated the bios to 1.40 and put ram back in but still it is not working. The only way I was able to get it to work was with some old ddr2 I had around. In the newegg post that guy said that he set a jumper for ddr3 but I have not seen anything about a ddr3 jumper, only a fsb1 jumper for 1333 cpu and 1333 ram.

Well, we're 4 posts into your thread now and I still haven't got a clue what your processor is. Do you or do you not have a processor that natively supports DDR3? It's beginning to appear as you don't.

Ggrrrr I despise Intel :) It's the chipset, not CPU that matters. Lemme look closer.

Yea, in some reading of posts at NewEgg on this board it appears you need to simply re-jump that FSB1 jumper for DDR3. Why ASRock chose to word that there in the manual as they did is anyones guess.

Newegg.com - ASRock G41C-GS LGA 775 Intel G41 + ICH7 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard Set the page to 100 Reviews per page then search "jumper".

I tried moving the jumper and it still did not work. Also put each stick of ram in by itself to see if one of the sticks was bad but it wouldn't work with ether one. I just was thinking do I need to clear cmos out.

Busboy... Did you ever find an 8 GB DDR3 RAM that would work with your g41c mobo? I'm having the EXACT same problem. Didn't work with my Geil Evo Leggara. Please let me know if u find one that takes!
