    Default TPM Module Question

I just finished a build using the AS Rock Z87E-ITX MB and would like to install a TPM module.
I've never used a TPM and am not sure if I can use any module or if there is one make or model that is required to function with my MB.
The manual only shows the location of the socket and provides no other information.
Also, I know that software is required to run the module, but am not sure if this comes with it, or must be purchased separately?
    Thanks for your help.

According to Wikipedia(yea yea I know) Trusted Platform Module page TPM has been standardized. Reviews of the readily available Asus TPM Modules on both Amazon and NewEgg imply they too work on a plethora of boards other than Asus.

    Awhoops.

Scratch that. The pinouts are different and the hole/socket that is blanked on the Asus module doesn't line up with the blanked pin on your Z87E-ITX's TPM header.

I'd open a Support Ticket HERE with ASRock and inquire.
