    Angry ASRock P67 Pro3 SATA3Gs Ports fail

    Hello everyone,

i recently noticed that my system was taking forever to boot, and, once booted, not all Drives connected through SATA were functioning properly.

Further testing with switching around cables etc. resulted in me noticing that none of my dark blue (SATA 3Gs) Ports are working anymore.

Googling it made me aware that this sounds alot like the Intel-bug.

Since my Board is older than 2 years, any chances i can get it fixed/replaced still?

Or is my only other option to live with 2 Ports / Buy a new one?

    Thanks in Advance :)

    Greetings, Ferron

Weren't all the boards with the B1/B2 stepping chipsets able to be traded in for the B3 chipset back when this happened? I waited to get a B3 chipset board at that time. I highly doubt you could get a new one under warranty, but you could ask.

Yours is the first post I have seen that mentions this problem, so now we have a case where it finally might of happened.
